How to trace error line number in PLSQL in Oracle PL SQL Interview Questions And Answers For Experience & Freshers | Interview Preparation

In PLSQL if we want to find out at which line error is occur then we use format_error_backtrace() function from dbms_utility package.

This function is used within default handler under exception section of the PLSQL block.

exception
when others then
dbms_output.put_line(dbms_utility.format_error_backtrace())
end;
/
