Eliminating Explicit Cursor life cycle or cursor for loop in Oracle PL SQL Interview Questions And Answers For Experience & Freshers | Interview Preparation

Using cursor for loop we are eliminating explicit cursor life cycle.
Here no need to use open, fetch, close statements explicitly.

Whenever we are using cursor for loop then oracle server internally open the cursor, then fetch the data from the cursor and then close the cursor automatically.

In cursor for loop index variable internally behaves like record type variable (%rowtype). This cursor for loop is used in executable section of the PLSQL block. cursor for loop is also called as shortcut method of the cursor.
