LONG - 

1) Stores upto 2GB data

2) Only one LONG column available per table

3) Subquery can not select LONG datatype column

4) We can not use LONG column in regular expressions

LOB -

1) Stores upto 4GB data

2) More than one LOB column can be available per table

3) Subquery can select LOB datatype column

4) We can use LOB column in regular expressions
